The Local Plan sets out how our county should be developed in the future including how many new homes are needed and where they should be built. It is the basis for deciding planning applications and provides the framework for the preparation of neighbourhood plans. The Council is required to keep the Plan under regular review and change the content where necessary.
There is still time to share views about the Local Plan. Cheshire West and Chester Council is asking residents and businesses whether the Local Plan needs to be updated to reflect changing national and local priorities.
The consultation ends at 5pm on Wednesday 15 September. This consultation is seeking your views to help CWaCC decide whether the plan needs to change.join the conversation
The existing Local Plan is explained in this link, together with the process for entering your ideas.
The Local Plan Conversation is divided into six themes: Climate; Jobs; Homes; Health; Travel; and Environment and provides the framework for how our village and county develops. So it is important that our views are known and listened to.
