A Live Local Work Local job fair will offer valuable support for people looking for employment.
The free event is on Tuesday 15 May from 10am to 2pm in Ellesmere Port Civic Hall, Civic Way.
Employers, recruitment agents and training providers will be available for jobseekers to chat with to get advice on finding a job or enrolling on a training course.
Among the employers who will be attending are Regatta, Wagamama and Kier.
Cheshire Police will also be attending the event to offer guidance to those considering joining the force.
Chester University will be able to help people seeking information on how to enrol on higher education courses.
The Ellesmere Port Work Zone will be open throughout the event to offer skills and employment advice.
Lisa Harris, the Council's Director of Place Strategy, said: "The Live Local Work Local Job fair is a fantastic opportunity for people who are not in education or employment to come along to a friendly and supportive event so they can meet the right people who will be able to help them to achieve their employment or education goals.
"The employers and education providers will provide important advice so as to direct people on the right path to a successful future in education or employment in west Cheshire."
People who are thinking about starting their own business will be able to speak to advisors who can tell them how to start and where to get the appropriate advice and support.
If residents have wellbeing or money concerns that may be hindering them then experts will be on hand to offer support.
