Lenten Lunches in Chester

This Lent, the Chester Christian Aid group warmly invites everyone to join them for lunch in Chester on every Monday in March.
These are simple but wholesome lunches serving homemade soup with bread, cheese, fruit and cake, paid for by donations to Christian Aid.

The lunches will be held at:

• Quaker Meeting House, Frodsham Street: 2, 9, 16 and 23 March.
• St Mary's Church Centre, Handbridge: 30 March.

Each lunch is provided by people from churches in Chester, and will help to raise funds for Christian Aid.
We expect to welcome around 40 people each week to come together to share this simple lunch and time of friendship. Together, we will reflect on those for whom poverty and hunger is a daily challenge.
