Last Minute Shopping at SPAR – Think Local ....

With all the negativity that we are hearing regarding High Street shopping in towns and cities throughout the UK, it is more important than ever to support our local services and businesses.

Quite where would we be without both the Post Office service and SPAR, both vibrant concerns in the nucleus of our village.

Thom Morton has all sorts of last minute deals available in store and, of course, is open when the supermarkets have actually closed their doors – is there anyone who has not popped down to SPAR for last minute necessities. So, whether it is stocking up on wine, delicious chocolates, festive goodies, lovely cheeses from the deli and more, then don't forget to 'THINK LOCAL'.

And, we should not forget the enormous contributions that Thom makes to projects within our community – he has been an advocate in the reduction of plastics and the upcoming introduction of environmentally friendly cups and straws; was a huge contributor to the Armistice Centenary events (not least in supplying 'Peace Babies' to just about everyone and also, of course, funding the two commemorative seats which are now proudly installed at our War Memorial); was a major player in the unprecedented success of the Tattenhall Charity Beer Festival, and is the new sponsor for the Tattenhall Local History Website for 2019. No wonder SPAR Tattenhall was recognised at the Gala Awards Ceremony held back in October!

Whilst Thom and Lesley are very keen to thank everyone for their continued support and patience during this busy time of year and to wish everyone a 'Very Happy Christmas', we too extend our thanks to their unwavering support to the vibrancy of our High Street and Village.
