Jumble Sale Success – £599.85 Raised for Barbour Institute

The Tattenhall Jumble Sale which was held on Sunday was another huge success.

A very respectable £599.85 was raised; where's that extra 15p when you need it!

'Tattenhallers' turned up in their droves between 9.30-11.30am with their donations. Think how liberated you all feel now that you've had that spring declutter!

Some donations were in bags which were clearly labelled 'Barbour Boutique' – congratulations to the advertising of Tattenhall Online – it works! The 'Barbour Boutique', therefore, which has become a 'bit of a hit', worked really well and contributed +£100 to the overall total.

An army of sorters and sellers worked furiously throughout both the morning and the afternoon. My thanks to you all; the 'Barbour' simply couldn't do it without you!

So, what are we going to do with all that money I hear you say?

Well it is a little dull but very much needed. We have a full set of crockery and cutlery available to hirers, which has become very depleted of late. With the proceeds we will be able to restore these depleted stocks.

The next fundraiser for the 'Barbour' is Prize Bingo which returns on Saturday 3 June.
