Jumble Sale Proceeds

Update on Jumble Sale, Sunday 15th April. Thank you to everyone who helped sort in the morning, all who brought their jumble that morning too. Our sellers in the afternoon also do a sterling job. The total raised was £575! A truly magnificent amount. Many of you will know that all our fund raising efforts at 'the Barbour' are invested in improving our much loved village hall. In fact, the money has already been spent! On Monday new white/yellow lining has appeared on the car parking area around the building. This will hopefully make full use of the spaces available, making it clearer to our visitors which are also 'no parking' areas.

Our next Jumble Sale happens in October, so when you're having a clear out, bag it up and bring it down to us on the morning of the sale and we'll do our best to at least match last week's magnificent amount, safe in the knowledge that any funds raised will be invested back in our village hall.
