Jumble Sale @ Barbour Institute, Sunday 2nd April
It's spring and time for the traditional spring clean. Whilst you're tidying up, why not have a clear out?
Tattenhall Community Association hold their twice yearly Jumble Sale on Sunday 2nd April. Doors Open at 2pm, entrance costs 50p per adult, free to accompanying children.
We accept most things, however we don't need books (Hilary Scarratt hosts our annual Book Sale in October) nor videos ( we just can't sell them any more!)
Suggestions for what we do accept, clothes, childrens toys and games, bric-a-brac, shoes, handbags, costume jewellery and textiles ( curtains, cushions, bedding )
After our initial trial last Autumn, the 'Barbour Boutique' returns. Held in the Green Room and featuring good quality ladies clothing & accessories, it must be stressed at 'charity shop' prices, rather than Jumble Sale prices. It is run by the indomitable Barbara Layfield, so please think about donating. If you put them in a bag marked 'Barbour Boutique' we'll ensure they find their way to our 'boutique'
We accept and sort your donations from 9.30 until 11.30 on the morning of the sale. All proceeds are reinvested into the Barbour Institute, our marvellous village hall.
If you could help sort in the morning or 'man' a stall in the afternoon, Sheila Chapman would love to hear from you, call her: 01829 770960.
