In line with the CWaC 'Community Spring Clean' initiative, TWiG and Bolesworth Estate invite members of the community to come and help clean Jubilee Wood.
Date: Saturday 1 April (no it's not an April Fool)
Time: 11.15hrs – 13.00hrs
Meet: At the gate at the back of the Flacca
Equipment: Please bring sacks, gloves and litter pickers if you have them and please wear wellingtons or appropriate footwear.
Regrettably, this area has become a hot spot for anti social behaviour.
Footfall on footpaths is not (and never has been) an issue.
However, cutting down established trees, lighting fires, spraying racist graffiti and inappropriate comment, and leaving general debris in the form of tyres, discarded bar stools, plastic chairs, bottles and litter are completely unacceptable and are now destroying this precious habitat (see images).
Regrettably, the Cheshire Police Rural Crime Team is now involved and signage is displayed in the area.
Lets act together and take ownership to protect and preserve our wildlife habitats in this beautiful village.
Please continue to report any issues you see in our rural community by calling 101 or making a report on the Cheshire Police Website.

We have chosen not to publish images of the inappropriate graffiti which has been sprayed on several trees.
