Inconsiderate Dog Owner

We have been contacted by a Tattenhall Road resident to highlight a problem that has been going on for some time:

"This morning, 19th September 2025, my wife and I woke up to find that 8 dog faeces had been deposited in a long line on the footpath outside our house on Tattenhall Road. 3 of these faeces were directly outside our drive and one of our grandchildren almost stood in one when they were dropped off this morning. It is obvious that all 8 are from the same dog.

While we accept that the dog owner might miss a single deposit if they are distracted, we cannot accept that they missed all 8 this morning.

This is not the first time this has happened. Over recent times it has happened 4 times now in front of our house as well as outside the houses of neighbours near us. In total we have personally witnessed this happening at least 6 times.

We will be talking to neighbours to see if they have any video evidence from door and security cameras of who the perpetrator is. If we find any such evidence, we will send the videos to the council to follow it up. This inconsiderate dog owner will then face a find of up to £1000.

We are not dog owners and object to having to clean up after someone's dog. A single inconsiderate dog owner like this gives all considerate dog owners a bad name.

If any considerate dog owner knows who is allowing their dog to do this, please name and shame them."
