The cream of the crop turned out for the High Sheriff Awards for Enterprise on Thursday 23rd March, which was held at Chester Racecourse. The awards recognise the outstanding businesses and business people throughout the county, with one of Cheshire's most successful tourist attractions, The Ice Cream Farm, receiving the Innovation Award.

Constantly proving its ability to create, nurture and develop new products and services, The Ice Cream was acknowledged for its evolution from a small ice cream parlour to the 'most visited free to enter tourist attraction in the North West'.

Its distinct offering sets it apart from the rest and with constant reinvestment and the development of new attractions on the site, it was also recognised for its use of technology. This includes element such as ipads in the queue lanes in The Parlour that not only allow customers to choose their flavour in the queue but also provide detailed allergen listings for anyone that may require them.

Jonathan Fell, Director of The Ice Cream Farm, who collected the award on the night, comments: "We go out of our way to ensure constant innovation with a dedication and commitment to excellence at The Ice Cream Farm. As such, being recognised with this award makes us extremely proud and eager to look for more ways that we can progress the business."
Jonathan was named Outstanding Business Leader at last year's High Sheriff of Cheshire Awards held at Chester Racecourse, for his exceptional vision and leadership at the helm of a successful and growing business. A business that has also contributed to the development and reputation of the whole sub-region.

With growing numbers, The Ice Cream Farm tourist attraction reached capacity in 2013, when the £5million redevelopment was undertaken to meet demand. Relaunching in July 2015, The Ice Cream Farm now offers an amazing flavour of activity. From 'Strawberry Falls' adventure golf, 'Scoop JCB diggers' and 'Honeycomb Canyon', a sensational sand and water play area, to 'Daisy's Garden', a free play experience with a difference that includes a snow-emitting, life-size magical ice cream tree sitting at the heart of the mind-blowing site.
