'Hunters Cheshire Homes' Ceases Trading

It is with a very heavy heart and with deep regret that 'Hunters Cheshire Homes' has officially ceased trading in Tattenhall.

You may have noticed that our office has been closed this week.

We are now offline, social media has ceased and the signage will come down by 12 March.

Local business has been disappointing but nothing that we could not have weathered in the short/medium term.

However, another agent, 'Hunters Estate Agent', has threatened to sue us for copyright infringement.

Our own lawyers suggest that we have a case because 'Hunter' is our family name and because there has been no deliberate 'passing off' as 'Hunters Estate Agents'.

That said, if we lost, then the possible damages and the possible court costs incurred, would be something that we would not wish to contemplate.

So, a huge 'THANK YOU' to those of you who have supported us in this new venture; however brief our presence in Tattenhall.

It has been an absolute pleasure to have worked with a number of clients who placed their trust in us.

Particular thanks, of course, to 'Tattenhall Online' who have been very pro-active in advertising our own brand.
