Residents, businesses, and community groups are being reminded that there are only a few days left to take part in the Council’s annual Fit for the Future budget consultation. The consultation closes on Sunday 30 November, and the Council is encouraging as many people as possible to share their views before it ends.
The Council spends almost one billion pounds each year delivering the services that matter most to local people. Rising costs and increasing demand mean the Council must make careful choices about how it plans for the future, and the views of residents will help shape these decisions.
"This consultation is about listening carefully to what matters most to local people. We all rely on our local services, and we want to make sure they remain sustainable and strong for the future. Fit for the Future is your opportunity to share your views and help shape how we prioritise investment across West Cheshire."
Council Leader, Councillor Louise Gittins
"We want everyone who lives, works, or studies in west Cheshire to take part. The views gathered through this consultation will guide how the Council plans its spending and ensures value for money in the years ahead".
Cabinet Member for Legal and Finance, Councillor Carol Gahan
There is still time to take part, but responses must be submitted by Sunday 30 November. People can share their views in several ways:
