Thinking About Switching Energy Providers? Read This First

Cheshire West and Chester Council's collective energy switching scheme known as 'Ready to Switch?' is now taking registrations for the latest round.

The scheme is available for both credit and prepayment meters, it is free to register and there is no obligation to switch suppliers if the tariff offered doesn't better your current one.

Councillor Karen Shore, Cabinet Member, Environment said: "As Autumn arrives heating and energy bills are back on people's minds.

"If you haven't switched supplier for a while, now is a great time to see if you can reduce the cost of your energy, before the winter sets in.

"The Ready to Switch scheme has been an enormous success so far, with hundreds of households in west Cheshire benefiting from lower energy bills."

All registrants will receive a personal offer by email or letter from October 23, and if you do decide to switch the whole process will be taken care of on your behalf. The deadline for accepting an offer is Tuesday 28 November.
