Chester's Chef's Table Set to Take Wedding Catering to New Heights in Exclusive Venue Partnership
An award-winning Chester restaurant and one of Cheshire's most exclusive wedding venue providers have joined forces to offer a unique dining experience for couples seeking to add something special to their big day.
Couples planning to have their wedding at Curdlands Barn, a stunning sandstone building with picturesque views across the Cheshire plains, or in the rural surrounds of the Penbedw Estate, will be able to treat their guests to food prepared by the expert Chef's Table team. The much-loved restaurant has helped to put Chester on the culinary map and, since opening five years ago, has received numerous accolades, including the Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Awards 'Best Small Restaurant' title for four years in a row. Taking inspiration from the inventive Chef's Table menu, catering options available at the two Harthill Weddings venues will include dishes such as cider roast spring chicken with wild garlic, potato risotto and confit yolk, and blood orange cake with candied blood orange and compressed rhubarb orange curd ice cream.
Tom Hughes, co-owner of The Chef's Table said, 'We're extremely excited about this new partnership between our catering venture, Chef's Table Events and Harthill Weddings. With two forward thinking, creative and passionate teams working together anything can be achieved, and we hope we can bring something special and unique to that very important 'big day' for couples choosing Curdlands Barn or Penbedw as their venue.
'At The Chef's Table over the last five years we have prided ourselves on delivering an original dining experience time after time for all our guests, something we believe we have carried out to the highest standard possible. Now, with our events catering business, we want to offer that experience beyond the doorstep of our restaurant. With Harthill Weddings we have the opportunity to do that, working along-side a like-minded local business that shares our vision and wants to deliver the same high standards.'
Anna Du Pre, Managing Director of Harthill Weddings added, 'This is a one-of-a kind opportunity for us to take the Chef's Table experience to our customers. Working with Chef's Table Events we aim to stage the finest and most stylish weddings in the area with the setting, venue and catering providing a truly memorable and special day.'
Chef's Table Events will be one of just two exclusive caterers available at Curdlands Barn, as well as being a preferred catering supplier for Penbedw Estate.

Whoopee! I thought, a tax refund — then I realised that this email was odd, and I was sure that in the past if I had a tax refund I was informed by HMRC by letter and that it was automatic. I forwarded the said email to them — HMRC at phishing@HMRC.gsi.gov.uk the reply was swift emphasising that this was a scam and that this was not their procedure. So I deleted it from my inbox and my...
