On Sunday at 3pm the new Emergency Alerts system will be tested nationally.
The system is designed to warn people when their lives are in danger.
Remember:

• The alert is a test
• It will be automatically sent to your mobile device
• Your device will wake and make an alarm sound.
• The alarm can be dismissed.
• The alarm can be disabled prior to the test.
