The open space of quiet, natural beauty, peacefulness and thrilling birdsong – right in the heart of Tattenhall.

It's the newly opened path through Glebe meadow – go on down if you've not experienced it yet. Be sure to enjoy the meadow, but doubly sure to keep to the mown path – with dogs on short leads and removing anything they might leave behind. It is important to protect this diverse habitat.

We are so privileged to have this rare and precious space, and be given the opportunity to stroll through and enjoy it all – especially with the wildflowers in bountiful display, and the birdsong so compelling.

If you don't know where it is, the access gates are off Chester Road, between the church and the doctors surgery; or from the pathway parallel to Chester Road that goes from the rear of St Albans towards Ravensholme Lane.
