Parish Councillors Needed for the Local Elections in May.

All Parish Councils in Cheshire West & Cheshire will be up for election Thursday 4th May 2023 – Tattenhall and District Parish Council will have 15 seats to fill. To retain their current powers, Tattenhall Parish Council need to elect two thirds of their Councillors. All current Parish Councillors will need to apply, it is unknown who will/will not apply.

Have you thought about giving something back to your community, and doing things that make a difference? Then why not consider being a Parish Councillor?

The current Parish Council meets every 2 months and has other informal meetings. The current members estimate they spend an hour a week plus the formal meeting.

Prospective Parish Councillors may submit their forms directly (see below) or through the Parish Clerk.
Full training is given to Councillors, the working environment is friendly and participation can be based around interests. There is no political party affiliation.

The Parish Clerk is happy to arrange meetings to allow people to get a councillor's perspective.
