QRS Auto Service is Tattenhall's local MOT car service and repair garage, based at Canalside.

We have many customers in the village and, during these difficult times, would like to inform everyone that we are still open for business.

It is our intention to remain open throughout unless we are instructed otherwise by the Government or it becomes impossible to remain open for other operational reasons.

We will post a further update if we are forced to close.

We are taking extra measures to ensure our customers and staff are protected in line with the Government guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus.

We have, over many years, collected and dropped off vehicles in the local area. We will continue to do so during these difficult times and I would like to make sure everyone in the village is aware we are offering this service now and in the future.

So if your car needs an MOT, tyres, service, general repairs or any other car related job we are happy to come to you to collect your car and drop it back off when it's finished.

We are an approved MOT test centre, can repair and service all makes and models of vehicle with all work carried out at our premises by our Bosch trained technicians.

Your vehicle would be collected by one of our staff using seat covers, floor mats & protective gloves and returned to you with the protective items removed.

We accept payment over the phone by card or a bacs payment prior to drop off.

Please call us on 01829 771165 or email us at if you have any questions or to make a booking.

MOT tests can also be booked online at if that is easier.

Along with feeders and bird baths, a bird box is high up on the list of a bird's basic needs. As well as providing a home for birds to bring up their families in spring and summer, a bird box will also provide shelter in the winter. When we asked you take photographs of Tattenhall whilst you were on your daily exercise regime (public health social distancing accepted), I think it would...
