The Plant Sale was really successful on Saturday. Lots of plants all donated, mostly by the committee but also from other gardeners in the village. Lots of people queueing up before the sale began,all hoping to to get the best plants bargains! Someone said it was like a Harrods sale! Thanks to everyone who came and supported us.
The leftover veg were given to the Allotments Association and were planted in the bed they have reserved to grow veg for the Free Food Pantry,

The money raised goes toward funding the Village Show in September. Schedules will be out soon, and available in various places around the village, and also online. This is a show open to everybody not just Garden Soceity members- if you haven't been to it before- it has the usual flowers, fruit, and veg classes but also photography, art, cooking, craft, and a childrens' section. Now is the time to start thinking about what have you made, or what photo have you taken, or painted a picture which you are proud of and might want to enter in to the show, or there is still lots of time to plan to do this!

The Show this year is on the 7th September. for the second time the front page has been designed by a pupil at Tattenhall Park School.
