Garden society talk February 11th

We're getting off to a great start in 2026 with our first speaker – and not only that but it's buy-one-get-one-free as well! To explain, our headliner is Rosie Irving, a TV gardening programme producer/ presenter, horticultural writer, columnist for Amateur Gardening magazine, garden designer and co-leader of Tod Garden Tours. She will give the main talk entitled 'Plants I love & how to grow them in a changing climate'. Rosie will be accompanied by her partner Michael Marriott, whom some of you will recall as a leading light at David Austin Roses for many a long year, and one of the world's leading rosarians. He will join in the Q&A session after Rosie, so if you have any rose-related queries, please do bring them along. This falls into the category of 'rather more expensive speaker' for us, so please encourage friends and family to come along – entry for the public remains at £3 until October so it's really good value,
