The consultation period is now closed regarding our High Street Post Office in Tattenhall.

The story that we posted on Tattenhall Online received over 900 hits.

We await the pronouncement.

With that in mind, 'Tattenhallers' might wish to view the three-part series which begins on BBC2 tonight, 29 July, at 9pm. It might make interesting viewing and shed some light on the process.

Chief executive Paula Vennells wants to reinvent the business for the 21st century and make it stand on its own two feet. But our feelings about our local Post Offices run deep — does progress come at too high a price?
