St Alban's Fete took on an altogether new look this summer and for the very first time, the fete was held in the grounds of the Churchyard and of the Rectory.
Its success was certainly something to 'crow' about (sorry about the pun, I couldn't resist it)!
Glorious sunshine contributed in making this an afternoon of fun and enjoyment, re-inforcing what makes this village and its community so very special.
The theme of this year's fete was 'Scarecrows', with Tattenhallers being encouraged to bring along a Scarecrow of their making.
Selecting a theme proved to be a terrific idea and one which successfully brought our community together.
Villagers (young and not so young) rose to the challenge and did not disappoint!
We include a variety of images which show the combined efforts of many and the fun which was enjoyed by all.
Together with teas, raffles, jams, cakes and games for the children, this was an afternoon of simplicity and pure enjoyment!
The team at St Alban's would like to thank everyone for their help and support in making this a truly memorable afternoon.
