We have published regular updates regarding Ben Woodburn, our local star who is in both the Liverpool and Welsh squads.

Well, this time, Ben has been representing Wales in 'The China Cup — Semi Final' held in Nanning and with Ryan Giggs in charge.

Earlier this month Ryan Giggs stated that 'Ben Woodburn's previous performances for Wales ensured he simply had to be included in his squad for the China Cup'.

Woodburn took the international scene by storm as he scored what proved to be the winning goal just five minutes into his Wales debut against Austria at Cardiff City Stadium in September last year.

Wales won convincingly in Nanning (6-0) with Gareth Bale scoring a hat-trick but Ben Woodburn replaced Bale in the 63rd minute.

All good experience for our young Tattenhaller in a series of 'friendlies'.

Good luck on your travels Ben!!
