Flaming June?

It won't come as much of a surprise to the people of Tattenhall that the past month has been one of the wettest Junes on record with more than twice the average amount of monthly rainfall.
January 2016 had been the wettest January for many years and now June has notched up a similar amount of rainfall; indeed Wednesday 15th June was the wettest day of the year with well over an inch falling in the village – a very good test for the new flood prevention work on the Mill Brook.
