Did you know that people both WITH and WITHOUT disabilities play Wheelchair Basketball?

Would you like to try the sport out?
Would you like to hear all about the Sydney 2000 Paralympics from someone who took part?
Come and meet A J Jackson, and give the sport a go!

Wheelchair Basketball Paralympian, with a further 80 international caps to their name and now Cheshire Phoenix Wheelchair Basketball Head Coach, A J Jackson will be at this month's Friday at the Flacca on August 30!

AJ will be bringing sport wheelchairs along and will be running fun sessions and drills on the tennis courts for all to try. All ages from 5 years upwards welcome!

Why not come along and meet AJ, hear all about their Paralympic experience, the awesome sport that wheelchair basketball is, and have a go yourself?

Non-members are welcome, and as always there will be hot food, bar, other fun sporting activities for kids, prizes and tombola going on as well!

Please bring/wear trainers for the sessions. We look forward to seeing you on August 30, from 5pm!

Don't forget that the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games start on Wednesday, 28 August and run until Sunday, 8 September.
