February 14th U3A walk

Details for walk on Feb 14th:

2.5 mile walk starting at The Swan Inn Marbury SY13 4LS along quiet country lanes, across fields with 17 stiles and a steep climb up Wirswall Hill, only sheep in fields and some mud.

Meet at Alison's 9.30 or 10 at the Swan where we will stay for lunch, numbers by Tuesday 12 th please.(menu on Swan website pub happy for us to order when we arrive) n.b pub is not open when we park,so no toilet facilities!

Directions take A41 past Malpas turn left along Bickley Lane to Bickley/ Marbury and follow long windy lane directions to Marbury . (On reaching A49 turn right and next left towards Marbury)

Please let Jill Hguhes know if you can come, and where you will meet and by Tuesday if you would like to stay for lunch at the pub.
