The beautiful village of Tattenhall in Cheshire
Webteam: December 2016
At last you sigh!!
Our thanks to the 'Tattenhaller' who spotted the road sweeper on Tattenhall Road today and who sent in the two images which we attach to this article.
The road sweeper was certainly a welcome sight for those residents who have found the pavements, the roadside kerbs and the verges so treacherous in recent weeks; presenting potentially dangerous and unpredictable consequences!!
What is now clear is that the responsibility for fallen leaves lies solely with CWaC and the Highway Maintenance Team.
That said, the concerted efforts of our Clerk to the Parish Council and to our Tattenhall Facebook users has now resulted in a belated victory!
Better late than never.
The lesson to be learned for next year is that Tattenhall residents make contact with CWaC immediately, thus preventing the 2016 scenario!
