Extension to Jubilee Wood

As promised, we are keeping you up-to-date with the Jubilee Wood extension; a superb initiative in support of biodiversity, climate change and continued flood mitigation work in Tattenhall.

The area is now fully fenced and a new kissing gate and farm gate have both been installed.

Members of TWiG were on site today to take some drone shots which show the extent of the new boundary.

The gardening team from Bolesworth Estate have created some excellent scrapes which will allow the planting of wildflower seed from early next month – a fantastic effort – many thanks!

In the meantime, some 750 native trees will be delivered later this month and planting will then take place in earnest.
