The beautiful village of Tattenhall in Cheshire

Do you think you could make a difference?

Tattenhall from the balloon

There is a vacancy on Tattenhall Parish Council which it is keen to fill and we hope to find someone who has plenty of enthusiasm and wants to make a difference to the community.

Projects on the go at the moment include rebuilding the playground on the Park; setting up a Community Land Trust; organising the Christmas trees, lights and decorations and putting on a party for the children of the parish.

Tattenhall is a busy and forward thinking Parish Council so there is always something in which to get involved.
There is a commitment to a monthly meeting of the full Parish Council and also to the monthly Planning meeting. Working groups, such as Community Safety or Community Pride, tend to meet on a less regular basis depending on what schemes they have in the pipeline.

If you would like to know more before committing yourself, come along to one of the meetings in the Barbour Institute on the first Monday of the month or contact the Parish Clerk, Jean Dutton, on 01829 770379/email
