The beautiful village of Tattenhall in Cheshire
Webteam: January 2019
Tattenhall Online is aware of the disquiet and of the negative comments in the village regarding the overcrowding on the School Bus to Bishop Heber High School.
One resident has expressed their 'disgust' and makes reference to 'children sitting on the floor, standing in the aisle, or sitting on other children's knees'.
This member of the Webteam contacted our Ward Councillor, Mike Jones, to clarify the situation.
Former Council Leader, Mike Jones, has been trying (without success) to remedy this situation for the last 2 years.
He is as frustrated as Tattenhall residents but is happy for us to quote him as follows: 'CWaC is clear — standing is allowed — and that's what they will do'.

Safeguarding of pupils is surely paramount, more particularly on the busy A41 and where another fatality was recorded just last week.
