Saturday at the Flacca saw a record batting score by a Tattenhall player in the Cheshire County League Era.
Captain Stuart Sadler batted through the Tattenhall innings for a personal score of 171 not out in 47 overs before declaring on 245-5.
The new high score comes after Aussie Brett Siebert had scored 150 not out on the last day of the 2016 season.
Sadler hit his huge total from only 139 deliveries with 24 fours and 1 six as Bredbury St Marks were comprehensively beaten by 132 runs for the win.
Dave Shewring took 7-20 in reply to show that the wicket had something for bat and ball and was a credit to Ground Chairman Brian Jarrard.
