CWAC survey of the support response to Ukrainian refugees

Cheshire West and Chester Council's humanitarian and community response and launch of E-form to collect local information

"As part of our ongoing post arrival support to refugees in the Borough, we are hugely thankful for the support that local communities and the voluntary sector are offering to refugees.

We are launching an e-form to capture what help, support and assistance is available in each community for refugees. This will enable us to connect with these groups to support and disseminate information, it will also help us build a directory of services/support that we can share with sponsors and guests.

CWAC have asked that we share the link below within our communities to help them understand what community/voluntary provision is available -- equally if there are local fundraising activities they ask that they complete the form, they are aware of organisations in the voluntary sector who are setting up hardship funds (more specifically for arrivals on the extended family visa route) and any additional funds would be greatly appreciated in supporting families in the Borough."
