The Parish Council (PC) know there is a little confusion about the various large planning applications and appeals which are currently taking place in Tattenhall.

Planning Application

26/02414/OUT - Outline planning application (with all matters reserved other than access) for the development of up to 120 dwellings, public open space and landscaping – Land North of Chester Road, Tattenhall

• Deadline for comments 11th September 2026
• This is a new application for the Taylor Wimpey site as a back-up in case their Appeal (see below) is refused. Comments need to be submitted as they will not be transferred from the previous application.

25/01764/OUT – Land off Tattenhall Road, behind Greenlands Tattenhall Chester
Proposal Outline planning application for the erection of up to 110 residential dwellings (including affordable housing), introduction of structural planting and landscaping, public open space, sustainable urban drainage system and associated works (all matters reserved except for access).(Full Flood Risk Assessment available online)

• Deadline for comments 25th September 2026
• This application has gone to Appeal because CWaCC has not yet decided the application . Comments previously submitted to CWaCC will be forwarded to the inspector and additional comments can be submitted directly to the Inspector . There will be a public inquiry, expected to start 24th November 2026, where people will have the opportunity to speak.

25/02070/FUL Land At Chester Road Tattenhall Chester Proposal Erection of 110 dwellings, provision of associated access and infrastructure works including roads, drainage infrastructure, car parking, public open space, landscaping and associated works.

• Deadline for comments 17th September 2026
• This application was refused by CWaCC Planning Committee and has now gone to Appeal and will be considered by written representation. Comments previously submitted to CWaCC will be forwarded to the inspector and additional comments can be submitted directly to the Inspector .
