Captain Stuart Sadler is looking forward to a good season in Cheshire County League Division 2 in 2017.
With the County ground facilities at the Flacca and the consistently highly marked wickets of Ground Chairman Brian Jarrard, Tattenhall are well placed to consolidate after a challenging campaign in 2016 ending in relegation from Division 1.

Tattenhall have seen 17 year old Henry Dobson get a Lancashire Academy contract and he moves on to play in the Premier League with Nantwich this season. Ben Gibbon will also stay in Division 1 with Oulton Park to build on his Cheshire age group career and we wish them well. Andy Styan joins from Yorkshire league cricket and we have South African Connor Windell with us for the season to assist with playing and junior coaching at the Club. There are opportunities for younger players to step up from 2nd team Premier League cricket and we are hopeful that more will break through to the first team during the season.

International cricket comes to Cheshire in July as the England LD (learning disability) side are involved in a tri-series tournament with Australia and South Africa. Tattenhall will be proud to host England v Australia on Sunday July 14th and we encourage you to come and support the team on the day and we will have lots of things to make the day around the ground in conjunction with Inspired Villages Tattenhall who have kindly agreed to sponsor the event for us.

Tattenhall will also hold the 2nd Junior Festival for u9 and u11 cricketers on August 13th and this is also a superb day to come and support over 100 junior cricketers enjoying the game and the surroundings at our super ground. Any juniors looking to come and try cricket can come to the club on a Friday from 6pm and all boys and girls are most welcome. Please come and support any of the events if you can (there is no charge) and we look forward to seeing you during the summer at Tattenhall.
