Covid-19 Vaccination Roll-Out – Patient Update as of 4 January

A 'Happy New Year' to our patient community.

This morning we resume our normal working hours.

We know that many of you are keen to know when you might be called by the Surgeries as part of the COVID-19 vaccination roll-out programme.

As has been published on the Village Surgeries Group Website throughout the holiday, we stated that

• 'the Rural Alliance Primary Care Network would be delivering the Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine to patients as soon as the vaccines have been delivered' and
• 'we will contact you when it is the right time for you to be vaccinated'

Please be assured that our information to patients has not yet changed i.e.

• directly the vaccines are delivered and/or we have confirmation of the delivery, we will contact you to attend a vaccination clinic
• the roll-out will be in line with current government criteria and prioritisation, primarily based on age and underlying conditions

We ask for your continued co-operation during this difficult time and during a time when government policy is constantly being upgraded.
