A meeting was held on June 11th between the Bolesworth Estate management team and the neighbouring Parish Councils.
The main topics discussed, were:
1. Community and Charity Initiatives
2. Events Management and Lessons Learned
• The No Art event (May 30, 2026) faced significant issues: incorrect advertising location, poor traffic management, wrong postcode on tickets, coach route violations, mobile connectivity problems, inadequate site security, and unexpected litter.
• Estate is now working with a reputable traffic management company; a new traffic plan will be mandatory for all major events.
• Venue deemed unsuitable for events reliant on public transport.
• Key learning points: enforceable traffic plans, compliance with license conditions, clear communication, and strong on-site management.
• Upcoming events: Bolesworth International (June 26–July 5), Together Again Festival (July 24–26), Bouquet & Belles Wedding Fayre (September 19–20).
3. Planning and Development Updates
• Application submitted for development south of Frog Lane (up to 400 dwellings and a new medical centre).
• Tattenhall Parish Council seeks land for a pump track and MUGA; discussions ongoing.
• S106 and unilateral agreements being clarified for flood prevention and green car park.
