And so it goes on ..... we are speechless and bewildered!

We reported only last week on this 'Continuing Concern of the Week' and here we have yet another example of a thoughtless individual simply throwing their dog waste into the hazels in Jubilee Wood.

So, whilst we might enjoy the sight of catkins on the hazels, we are now reminded that some individuals consider it acceptable to decorate the local flora with dog waste! If any residents have further suggestions on how to tackle this anti-social behaviour, then please contact us.

Dog waste in Tattenhall continues to be an on-going issue and sadly this has now affected our local Primary School too with young pupils trying to avoid the dog fouling that has taken place directly outside of the school.

As one parent states "This is potentially hazardous for all residents but particulary young children who must constantly look down at their feet to ensure they don't tread it into school, hence spreading it to classroom carpets where children have to sit to learn. It is unacceptable."

We have raised this continuing problem on Tattenhall Online previously and it has also been discussed at the Parish Council. 'Dog Control Orders' are also on display in the village advising of the possible consequences if individuals fail to follow the guidance. Moreover, CWaC's (Fouling of Land by Dogs)(General) Order 2012 makes it an offence not to remove any faeces deposited by your dog.

Residents of Tattenhall are now being urged to contact the Dog Warden and relevant bodies at Cheshire West and Chester County Council. ClICK HERE to report dog fouling on line and/or contact (dogs@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk).

A CWaC Dog Officer suggests 'It only takes two or three irresponsible dog owners to cause a problem. If you can identify a dog owner who regularly offends by not picking up their dog waste and inform the Dog Warden of a time and place which this often occurs, we could have a Dog Warden in place to catch them. Fines can then be issued'.

The community of Tattenhall are urged to work together to try and tackle this anti-social behaviour.
