Complement's Fashion show held at Alison's Country Kitchen was another great success. The ladies enjoyed a two course dinner and the chance to see a selection of 'new season' clothes. There were opportunities to try on some of the outfits and to treat yourself to a new oufit from Complement or to buy some seasonal gifts from the other stalls in residence. Nettle flowers had a great selection of their lovely homewares whilst Mary Pilkington from Hargrave showcased her fabulous glass creations, plus the unusual needle and felt work, hand made by Mandy Bellingham.
During the evening a raffle was held to raise money for Clatterbridge Hospital in memory of our dear friend Sheila Woollard which raised £100.
Those of you who know Jenni Thomson will know how talented she is and Jenni has donated a beautiful handmade quilt for sale. We are looking for a generous bid for this quilt and again all monies from the sale will also go to Clatterbridge. The quilt is on display inside Complement.
In keeping with our village theme, the photos were taken by Jonny Nolan a photography student who kindly gave up his time to take some great shots (click to enlarge and follow the link to his website).
Big thanks to everyone who came along and we look forward to our next event in the New Year.
