Citizens Advice Cheshire West Heating Bank

The Heating Bank is currently open to support vulnerable households between now and the end of March.
The scheme, supported by Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Household Support Fund allocation, is specifically designed to provide financial assistance to low-income households in Cheshire West and Chester who are vulnerable to, or at risk of, fuel poverty. Support can be provided towards energy or water costs. Since May, the Heating Bank has helped over 600 households with their energy bills.

Citizens Advice Cheshire West’s Energy Team offers free, confidential, and impartial advice and information to help Cheshire residents reduce energy use and manage energy costs.

We provide tailored energy advice through home visits, phone and in-office appointments. We offer pop up events and consumer workshops for community groups, and deliver front line worker training for organisations and individuals working with households at risk of, or living in, fuel poverty.
