Fete

JULY 6th is getting nearer and organisers of St Albans Church Fete are getting prepared now.

HERE'S THE MESSAGE ABOUT THE TOMBOLA STALL.

"We need your help. Remember that hand lotion, soap, vase, knick knacks etc you never use, well we can use them as prizes. It takes a lot of money to keep our/your church open and in good order to use for everyday and those very special occasions.

So please if you don't want something, take it into the back of church, label it Tombola. Maybe you have nothing to give but have a skill. Make a cake, do sewing, gardening. Write on a post card "I promise to do it" for example four hours gardening, cleaning, shopping trip. To someone that would be very welcome. There are phone numbers in the Parish News if you need help. Thank you in advance"

You are asked to deliver anything you are donating either to the Church or 8 Oaklands Crescent or 6 Brockway East or ring one of the Church Wardens to collect. (Dee Mason 770553 or George Richards 770482)
