PLENTY FOR YOUR CHRISTMAS LIST...

The most wonderful time of the year is nearly here, with just days to go until the sparkling Christmas at Bolesworth opens on December 2 until December 24!

Join us for fun, food and seasonal celebrations at Bolesworth Castle, eight miles south of Chester on the A41. You can explore our all-new, dog-friendly festive lights trail, get a head start on your Christmas shopping, as well as get into the festive spirit with delicious food and drink!

As well as transforming our grounds into an amazing winter wonderland, for opening night we'll also be adding a splash of colour to the Cheshire sky with fireworks at 9pm.

If you can't make night one, Christmas at Bolesworth will be celebrating the season of goodwill throughout December as our Christmas lights keep shining on!

OPENING NIGHT FIREWORKS DECEMBER 2
Celebrate the opening of Christmas at Bolesworth on December 2 as we add a splash of colour to the skies of Cheshire!

CHRISTMAS MARKET

With a host of seasonal shopping and food stalls, it's the perfect opportunity to find a unique gift for a special someone, savouring mouth-watering festive food or enjoy some mulled wine to make your spirits bright! Market traders will change each week.

RUDOLPH'S REST

Enjoy a magical meeting with our friendly reindeer (red noses or otherwise) in Bolesworth's enchanted woods as they prepare for their big night as part of Santa's Sleigh Team.

DOG FRIENDLY

Your canine companions don't have to miss out on the festive fun! Christmas at Bolesworth is a dog friendly event and perfect if you want to enjoy a seasonal walk in spectacular surroundings!

THE LIGHTS TRAIL
Bolesworth will be bathed in seasonal colour and illuminated by thousands of stunning lights, projections and interactive installations around the brand new 1.2 mile Christmas Lights Trail walk. With the castle bathed in colour as a unique Son et Lumiere as your dazzling backdrop, you'll see everything from light pyramids and orbs, lasers, glittering mirror balls and the spectacular dancing fountains on the ornamental lake.

CHAMPAGNE EXPERIENCES

Fizz the season to be jolly!Champagne Island and the Lakeside Champagne Bar are the perfect places to celebrate with family, friends or mark a special occasion during the festive season with a loved one whilst taking in the idyllic views of Bolesworth.

SANTA'S GROTTO

Girls and boys of all ages are invited to meet Santa and tell him what they want for Christmas, before having a special photo taken to mark the magical meeting.

THE ALPINE LODGE

Our winter-warming indoor Alpine Lodge is the perfect place take a break from the cold and packed with things to see and do.

FAIRGROUND

If the lights trail weren't enough, there's even more sparkle and dazzle to soak-up whilst enjoying a host of fairground attractions for all ages... ho ho ho if you want to go faster!

CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY DECEMBER 8
You are your dog are invited to wear your finest Christmas jumper on December 8 for the chance to win a surprise and support Save the Children!

SANTA DASH DECEMBER 11
On your marks, get set, ho ho ho! Enjoy a jolly good run (or walk) around our breath-taking 2km track winding around Bolesworth Castle whilst supporting our wonderful charity Hope House and Ty Gobaith Children's Hospices.

CHRISTMAS CHOIR DECEMBER 17
The 60-strong mixed voice Kelsborrow Choir will be entertaining visitors to Christmas a Bolesworth with seasonal music on December 17!

FESTIVE FANCY DRESS DECEMBER 24
