A celebratory tea party was held at Carriages recently to commemorate 10 years of 'Nia for the Knackered' at The Flacca class.

Some of the ladies who have survived from the very first class are pictured — Pauline Atkinson, Georgina Blackhurst, Marjorie Checkley, Esme Crane, Mary Humphreys, Carol Gregory, Marie Jacks, Annette Jones, Pam Randles, and Linda Smith.

They had to ask me twice if I would teach this class as Monday is my day off!

I took over from a traditional fitness instructor so none of the ladies knew what they were letting themselves in for!

They are now one of my best classes and I can always rely on them to make a noise when needed — the class is held at The Flacca on Mondays at 10am.
