Carr & Griffiths is currently seeking a Combined Service & Parts Advisor Apprentice to work in its busy dealership based in Milton Green, Chester. This is an exciting role with first-class training and outstanding career prospects.

Duties will include:
-Acting as the first point of contact for all customers coming into the dealership and ensuring they receive the best customer service experience
-Upselling and cross-selling additional products and services
-Working to a high level of customer service at all times
-Be courteous and polite to all visitors both face to face and via the telephone
-Ordering car parts using the Kia on-line system
-Chasing up missing or incorrect parts with suppliers
-Packaging and returning any unused/unwanted parts
-Regular communication with mechanics
-Liaising with customers to let them know when parts have arrived
-Booking in cars for MOT's and service
-Any other ad hoc duties and when required

Ideal Candidate:
Excellent communication skills; passionate about the automotive industry; forward thinking and keen to learn with an interest in development and progression; take a pride in appearance; hardworking; punctual; reliable; ability to use own initiative; must have a 'can do' attitude; polite and courteous.

Due to the location of this dealership, it is advantageous to have your own transport to be able to get to and from the dealership easily.

Qualifications Required:
GCSE A*-C (or equivalent) Maths, English and ICT

Long Term Company Aims for the Learner:
The potential of progression on to a level 3 based on successful completion of the level 2 apprenticeship and assessment with the college. Your salary shall be reviewed throughout your apprenticeship.

Other important information:
The current National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.30 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.

Please note that anyone over the age of 18 may be offered to work over 40 hours per week which could include Saturdays morning hours of 8.30am-12.30pm.

Working hours: 40 hours p/w Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.00pm

Starting Salary: £3.30 per hour
