How Many Butterflies can You count in Tattenhall?

We are in a butterfly emergency and we need your help more than ever before. By taking part in Butterfly Conservation's Big Butterfly Count – a UK wide survey, you can help assess the health of our environment simply by counting butterflies.

Spend just 15 minutes counting butterflies in your garden, park or local green space, and let us know what you see via our website or app.

There are just 3 steps 

• Step 1.Get ready by  downloading  our handy butterfly ID chart or free app for iOS and Android to identify and record the butterflies you spot.
• Step 2.Join in Choose a place to spot butterflies and moths and watch for 15 minutes. Then record which species you see in step 3.
• Step 3.Add your counts  Add your counts on the websiteor via the app and look at our fascinating interactive map to see how your data is contributing to conservation science and research
