BOLESWORTH CRYSTAL BALL RAISES £18,000 FOR CHARITY
More than 250 VIP guests gathered a Bolesworth Castle to celebrate the historic venue's successes and raise money for Bolesworth's charity of the year -- Hope House Children's Hospices. More than £18,000 was raised in the evening to support the charity that provides centres of excellence for children's palliative care and that works to ensure every family facing the death of a child gets the very best care and support when, and where, they need it.
Nina Barbour, Managing Director of Bolesworth, said "It was a fabulous evening and a perfect setting for us to raise money for Hope House while outlining our vision for Bolesworth as we approach our bicentenary in 2028." Andy Goldsmith, chief executive of Hope House Hospices, added "It was a fantastic event topped off with an amazing amount of money raised for our hospices. We're so grateful for all who donated."
The castle and grounds were beautifully illuminated by its inaugural Christmas lights trail, which runs until 24th December, allowing visitors to kick off Christmas with a 1.2-mile magical trail and unforgettable after-dark experience. New members of the Bolesworth team included Matt Bates as managing director of Bolesworth Events, Simon Kennish as property director and Rob March as marketing & commercial director.
