Bolesworth Christmas Extravaganza

Christmas at Bolesworth begins with a bang!
The grand opening of Cheshire's greatest outdoor Christmas event is set to go off with a bang on 1 December!

Following our jaw-dropping fireworks display to end Halloween, we'll be again adding a splash of colour to the Cheshire skies with fireworks to celebrate the start ofChristmas at Bolesworth 2023 and don't forget we'll also be closing Christmas at Bolesworth with fireworks at 7pm on New Years' Eve too!

The event will see Bolesworthtransformed into a winter wonderland until December 31, bathed in a spectrum of seasonal colour from thousands of lights, projections and installations around our 1.2 mile enchanted Christmas lights trail.

With Bolesworth Castle a unique Son et Lumiere as your dazzling backdrop, you'll see everything from stunning light pyramids and orbs on the ground, lasers, glittering mirror balls and the spectacular dancing fountains on the ornamental lake.

As dusk falls our dog-friendly Christmas Lights Trail comes to life and becomes the most dazzling winter illuminations event in Cheshire and beyond.

Real Ice Skating

The quintessential festive experience comes to Cheshire! Get your skates on and gracefully glide our amazing 240sqm real ice skating rink -- a new centrepiece attraction for 2023!

Festive Fairground

If the lights trail wasn't dazzling enough, experience a mixture of amazing fairground rides and attractions for all ages. Ho, ho, ho if you want to go faster!

Meet the Reindeer

If after all that walking you're feeling a little sleighed, the perfect place to recharge is Rudolph's Rest! As well as the chance to enjoy some festive refreshments, you can meet Santa's reindeer as they get ready for the big day.
