The Boathouse Café Bar

A little update from The Boathouse Café Bar We’ve noticed a little bit of confusion recently about what’s currently on offer at the Boathouse, so we wanted to clear things up!

Some months ago now, we made the decision to close our kitchen and move away from serving a full cooked menu. While we’d love to still offer a full cooked menu, the level of demand simply isn't enough to make running a full kitchen sustainable.

So, we adapted what we offer – and the Boathouse Café Bar is still very much open.

You can still pop in and enjoy hot and cold drinks, cakes, pastries, and a selection of light bites, all delicious and locally sourced, whether you’re spending time at the marina, meeting friends or simply looking for somewhere to sit, relax and enjoy the surroundings.

We completely understand that it can be disappointing to arrive expecting a full meal, particularly if you’ve visited us in the past when the kitchen was open. We hope this update helps avoid any confusion and makes it a little clearer what to expect when you visit.

The Boathouse remains an important part of Tattenhall Marina, and we hope it continues to be a warm and welcoming place for our moorers, visitors and local community.
