During term-time, Tattenhall buzzes with the early morning departure of students from the village to Malpas into the excitement of Bishop Heber High School. The school website explains: -

"Bishop Heber High School provides a safe and caring environment in which we ensure that all students have opportunities that are challenging and rewarding both within the classroom and the wider world."

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS
It is all very well to have the plans and ambitions to be a great school but it is what happens in practice that really counts. "Heber Highlights" provides detailed insights into the school's activities. It's a 41-page, highly readable, magazine style account, published by the school (most recent July 2023) show-casing achievements by students and staff.

Achievements range across a wide spectrum – academic excellence, individual improvement, diverse sports, links to local enterprises, university entrance, apprenticeships, foreign and UK travel, music, drama, charity support and more. Every student counts and is valued in the broadest sense.
