The weather could not have been worse!
In driving rain and plummeting temperatures, the two advertised litter picks took place in and around the village on Friday 3 March as part of the national campaign 'The Great British Clean'.
Helen Rideal's Group in their high visibility jackets were not to be missed, whilst the new joint Presidents of the Women's Institute, Anne and Esme, led their team (and one TWiG representative) to a variety of locations within the village.
Well done to all participants and 'Tattenhall Online' salutes you in your collective efforts in trying to rid Tattenhall of unwanted litter.
Importantly, however, to those of you that have scant regard for decorating the village and countryside with your unwanted litter, just pause and think more carefully in the way that you dispose of your litter in the future. Surely, none of us should anticipate and/or rely on the goodwill of others to deal with our own thoughtless actions.
