Tattenhall Beer Festival Committee: August 2016
Preparations for Tattenhall's hugely popular annual 'Charity Beer Festival' are gathering pace with a record number of local businesses taking up sponsorship on our carefully selected casks of ale and/or advertising within our much sought after programme — proving to be a collectors' item no less!
Last year's 'purely local' winning formula with 16 local beers, ploughman's platters & artisan breads, and the warmest of locally sourced sausage rolls and pork pies, was such a hit that we intend to continue with this theme.
Local Cheshire Gin also proved so popular last year that we will be offering this again in October and we will also be stocking traditional cider.
We are responsible — fear not — there will be 'Peckforton Hills Spring Water' which is quite simply Cheshire through and through, as well as a variety of soft drinks.
Our designated charities this year are the NW Air Ambulance and The Children's Society. Last year we raised £2500 for our nominated charities — it would be fantastic to think that we could equal or exceed that total in 2016.
